Avranches
The historic town of Avranches is just a twenty minute drive away, boasting classy boutiques and a port. Sit and relax in the botanical gardens and look out over the bay of Mont Saint-Michel or visit the Museum of the Second War at Val Saint-Père.

Granville
A beautiful sailing and fishing harbour with the strongest tides in Europe. The ‘Haute Ville’ is a picturesque fortified old town with its ownchurch and 15th and 18th century houses. Visit the Roc Aquariam, the Wax Works or the Water Sports Centre.

Le Mont Saint Michel
A superb example of ancient architecture and France's premier tourist attraction. Visit the main street with its shops, and ‘Marvel Abbey’. Walk around the ramparts with views over looking the sandy bay, and see the spectacle of the sea rushing in to surround the Mount at each high tide.

Saint Hilaire-du-Harcouet
This delightful town has some superb shops and is also well known for its river fishing. (Lakes of Vezins and La Roche qui Boit). The town's famous market is held on most Wednesdays. Visit at Christmas and see the charming nativity scene.

Villedieu Les Poëles
Founded in the 11th Century Villedieu became famous for its copper, there is a bell foundry, copper workshop and pewter museum, along with a selection of shops, cafés and restaurants.

Caen
Caen has something to offer everyone. Visit this city to see an area steeped in cultural history or simply walk around the beautiful parks, or spend the day by the port. Whatever the weather there is always plenty to do here.
